K STER KB-Fix 5 is used to perform quick additions and repairs of defects and scratches in plaster and masonry, as well as for fixing the hook in, dowel, gutters and downpipes, balustrades, grilles, radiator as well as minor repairs, sealing pipe penetrations. The material can be used both indoors and outdoors.
K STER KB-Fix 5 mortar is used for closing scratches and expansion joints during sealing by means of pressure injection with K STER KB-Pur IN polyurethane resins, the mortar is also suitable for filling holes in injection packers.
Loose, weak plaster or masonry should be removed from the substrate, moistened areas and scratches should be moistened with water.
Mix K STER KB-Fix 5 dry mortar with water in a 3: 1 volume ratio until a thick, putty compound is obtained. When sealing and repairing larger surfaces, press the material with a board or putty to tie. At low temperatures, mix the material with lukewarm water (approx. +20 C). The mortar can be mixed with rinsed sand or Portland cement (a test should be carried out beforehand).
