Product description
Sikaflex 298 is a self-leveling, elastic, one-component polyurethane adhesive and sealant. Under the influence of ambient moisture, it cures to the form of an elastomer. It is manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001/14001 quality system and in accordance with the Responsible Care program. It was specially created for the needs of the maritime industry and obtained the approvals of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Application
Sikaflex 298 is suitable for bonding deck coverings made of synthetic resins (except polypropylene and polyethylene) and for covering decks with teak wood planks as the top layer of the deck. It is used on the following surfaces: polyester-glass laminate, stainless steel, marine plywood, steel and aluminum covered with an anti-corrosion coating based on epoxy or polyurethane-acrylic.
